At Acton Academy Calgary West, we don’t believe in teaching to the middle or confining children to grade-level boxes. Instead, our studios are designed around natural stages of growth, each with its own emotional, social, and academic focus.
We group learners in multi-age studios, allowing them to progress at their own pace—moving forward when they’re truly ready, not according to a predetermined schedule.
Each studio is intentionally crafted to support and nurture the four key arcs of learning that guide every hero’s journey at Acton:
Learn to Be · Learn to Learn · Learn to Think · Learn to Do

As parents, educators, and founders, we are committed to inclusive learning and diversity. To uphold this belief, we offer financial aid tailored to each family’s circumstances, making our facility more accessible to a wide range of learners.
We also welcome homeschooling families who may be seeking part-time or enrichment-only options. These arrangements can be customized based on individual needs—offering flexibility while still providing the benefits of community, structure, and specialized learning opportunities.
Additionally, we provide a Subsidy Credit Program that allows parents to contribute their time, skills, or services in exchange for tuition support. This helps strengthen our learning community while honouring each family’s unique path to success.
